Bright yellow in colour with green notes. An elegant combination of citrus fruit, apricot, white pepper and yellow flower notes. Floral, mineral and notably persistent on the palate. Great ageing potential.

Vinification:

The Chardonnay grapes are manually harvested from the Vaiano vineyard 450m a.s.l in the famous 'Calanchi' hills. The grapes are picked at the end of August and placed in 25kg boxes. On arrival at the winery the grapes are fermented in stainless steel vats at an average temperature 15°C. No malolactic fermentation occurs. The wine is stored 100% in steel vats for 8 months and refined in bottle for approx 3 months.
