Light straw in colour with green undertones. Zesty lemon aromas with some almond and stone fruit notes. Crisp, lively, mineral character with sharp acidity and a refreshing, lasting finish.

Vinification:

Vinified from grapes from the younger vineyards located in the heart of Rovereto, known internationally as the Gran Cru of Gavi. The grapes are hand harvested and immediately transferred to the winery. Cryo-maceration, cold fermentation (13-14°) in stainless steel tanks and the use of natural yeasts preserves the Cortese's subtle fruit, flinty acidity and structure.The young wine remains in tank on its lees for 4 to 5 months to extract aromatic richness and palate complexity, before natural decanting and bottling.
