Located in the South of France along the Mediterranean coast between the Rhône river to the West and the Côte d’Azur to the East. Provence has the classic Mediterranean climate – long days of sunshine, cool evenings, low rainfall with the famous Mistral wind that ensures the vines are kept dry and free from pests. Wine has been made here for over 2,000 years making Provence the oldest winemaking region of France. Today Rosé is the predominant wine produced here accounting for about one third of the region’s wine.
