This ancient and prestigious grapes was brought to the province of Avellino by the Pelasgians from Thessaly in Greece in the first century BC. Straw yellow in colour. A bouquet of chamomile, pear, ripe fruit and dried fruits. Fresh, mineral, structured and persistent. Fantastic ageing potential.

Vinification: The Tufo Estate is sited on mainly mid-mixture, loose and well drained soils on a South-East exposure and at an average of 450 m a.s.l. The grapes are manually harvested in the first part of October. Classic white vilification in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The wine refines for at least one month in the bottle before release.
