This beefy red is persistent on the nose, with hints of plum, roasted figs and dark berries. A rich and flavourful red with balance and finesse yet structured. Full bodied, ultra fine tannins and a long, long finish. Plenty of ripe fruit and a wonderful spicy character.

Vinification:

The grapes are handpicked in September and fermented in steel tanks for 15-16 days. Racking for 14-28 days. The wine is then aged in new small French oak barrels for 12 months before bottling with a further 6 months of ageing in glass and a short period in cement vats.
