Familia Comenge Reserva, Ribera del Duero DO, Bodegas Comenge
Familia Comenge Reserva, Ribera del Duero DO, Bodegas Comenge
Medium-high cherry red garnet colour. Bright. Intense and spicy nose. Notable hints of licorice, ripe red fruit, fennel, herbs and balsamic sensations. The aromatic richness of this Tempranillo is such that barely sketches aromas like oak spice, caramel, vanilla, cocoa. The mouth is smooth and wide, without being opulent, with high quality tannins - very silky and sweet. Aromatically it is somewhat less fruity and spicier. Ripe fruit but also vanilla, caramel, scrubland and liquorice. The aftertaste is long and silky with a fresh length.
