In 1992, the Shahabi Brothers began producing wines in the small town of St. Helena, situated in the heart of Napa Valley. The Shahabis selected Napa Valley in the belief that its rich and diverse terrain combined with the California sunshine would produce exceptional wines. The winery selects grapes from some of the best vineyards across California, including Stagecoach Vineyard of Napa Valley and Sleepy Hollow Vineyard of Monterey. Stonehedge specializes in the production of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. They produce wines in distinct profiles: California Appellation wines, which offer a fruit forward, supple and soft flavour profile with a light touch of oak; Reserve Napa Valley Wines, which are produced from specifically selected blocs of famous vineyards embodying the best a varietal has to offer. From the very beginning, the brothers made the gentle care of the grapes from vine to bottle a priority. This care and dedication has pushed the small family operated Stonehedge to the forefront of California winemaking.
