Chateau Beauregard Ducasse

This 10-hectare estate, located on a clay/gravel soil in Mazeyres, to the south of Langon and the Graves area, belongs to Mr Jacques Perromat, a famous name in that region. His family has been producing consistently good red and white wines since 1828. Beauregard Ducasse is a blend of grapes from 30-year old vines of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (45%), and Cabernet Franc (5%), hand-picked at full-ripeness, fermented in stainless steel vats and aged partly in oak barrels. This red is typical of the appellation; well-balanced and rounded with good structure, mineral tones and redcurrant notes on the nose, with a full bodied and supple palate.
