Via Priula

Marco, Mauro and Giovanni from San Pellegrino got together in 2010 to make their town north of Bergamo famous for its beer, as well as its mineral water. They named their brewery after the road that leads north through the Alps, as they too looked in that direction to gain inspiration from Northern European beer makers. As well as making great beer they have opened a “Birreria” in San Pellegrino, which we recommend you try next time you are in Northern Italy. The first beer we introduced to the UK was Loertis, a Pils made in true Bohemian style, using Saaz hops, which give the brew a unique light, fruity, yet dry flavour. We've since added an American pale ale - Bacio; a raspberry wheat beer called Rosa and a double malt called Dubec. A must for lovers of craft beer. www.birrificioviapriula.it
