Franco & Giuseppe Argiolas, along with their children, run one of Sardinia’s finest wineries. The renowned oenologist Professor Giacomo Tachis, who sadly passed away in February 2016, was involved with the winery for over a decade and is responsible for creating Turriga, which is today considered to be one of Italy’s best red wines. The Argiolas winery has always preferred to concentrate on indigenous Sardinian grape varieties, and they are responsible for a resurgence of interest in Bovale Sardo. The estate comprises 230 hectares and is located in Serdiana, Trexenta and Sulcis.
