Tenuta di Capraia

Tenuta di Capraia is situated at 280-330m above sea level and covers a total of 123 hectares, 45 dedicated to vine cultivation. The original Estate can be traced back to the 1600s and was restored and updated in the 1960s. Today Tenuta di Capraia is owned by the Calì family, owners of neighbouring Rocca di Castagnoli, who purchased the Estate in 1998. The Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva 2005 won the Chianti Trophy at the International Wine Challenge Competition 2009. www.tenutadicapraia.com
