Le Château de Bagnoles is located in the South of France, in the Languedoc, 10km from the medieval city of Carcassonne.
Throughout the winter, the views from the winery are of the snow-capped peaks of the Pyrenees.
The vineyard is located on the terroir of the Clamoux, hinge area of the Mediterranean climate with the influence of the Atlantic Ocean. It
is composed of Coteaux chalky-clay and gravel terraces.
Le Château de Bagnoles is the former home of the monks of the Abbey of Caunes, and became a family property in the 15th century.
It takes its name from the ancient Castle of Bagnoles and its picturesque dungeon of the 13th century, which stands in the middle of the cellar.
Since the 15th century, the Panis-Mialhe family have been passionate about viticulture. They’ve combined their respect for traditional values with the adoption of modern wine-making techniques which they’ve
refined over generations.
