The La Fleur de Jaugue is produced in a small 4.5 hectare estate located at the west of St Emilion.
The estate was founded in 1993 by Mr Georges Bigaud, who to this day continues to tend to his vines personally.
The soil of the vineyard is clay, surrounded by deep gravel in the north and north-eastern part.
Georges' vines have an average age of 50 years, which produce a full-bodied, ripe and supple wine with subtle tannins.
The wine is made to drink immediately, but also suitable for long ageing.
